I am almost done projecting everything in my boutique. My team and I are currently waiting for Rathore.
"Can we also get that mannequin with that wine-red fabric? I think she will also like that colour," I said while my left hand signaled towards the storage room where we have all the mannequins. "Sure", one of my team members said as they went towards the storage room.
"There is still time for them to come, I will go to my cabin till then," I said and made my way towards my cabin. I entered the cabin and drank the glass of water kept on my desk.
I don't know why I'm being so nervous; it's not that I haven't done this before.
Just then, I heard Tanvi come inside the cabin. "Chill, it's going to be amazing, you will do great", she patted my back as I smiled at her.
"They are here, come let's go", she said, walking ahead of me. I also made my way towards the door, hoping everything would go alright. I walked slowly, and Tanvi went behind me.
My eyes soon met with Mrs. Manika Singh Rathore, who smiled at me politely. Right next to her was Mr. Rajwant Singh Rathore, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
I didn't expect him to be here, because I never thought the Chief Minister had this much time that he could be at my boutique.
Right behind Mr. and Mrs. Rathore was standing their Daughter, and the princess of Udaipur, Akhyati Singh Rathore, her eyes wandering around the boutique, sparkling as she adores all the dresses placed in the boutique.
She finally focused on me, "Hi! You are Aira Chauhan, right?" she questioned while looking at me. I nodded. She giggled, "Your designs are so cool, I am a big fan of your boutique!" she exclaimed.
I smiled at her as my eyes went behind her. There were a total of six bouncers, one bulky man and one assistant behind Mr. Rathore and two bouncers around Mrs. Rathore, and three bouncers around Akhyati.
Their assistant finally decided to speak to me, "Ms. Aira, it would be nice if we could quickly see the designs as we are in a hurry" I wondered why they came in the first place if they were busy.
I assumed Tanvi and I thought the same thing as we looked at each other, and we were almost on the verge of laughing. "Sure, we will do this quickly", I muttered as I directed the way to the fashion studio, signaling them to walk first, as Tanvi led them to the studio.
"Here are the designs, I have already decided the quality of the fabric and the color of the dress, Tanvi will show you those", I said, showing them the Mannequins.
At first, they had no expression on their faces, but slowly, Mrs. Rathore smiled. "It's great beta" "Ah, thank you", I replied, almost smiling, trying my best to keep things professional.
"Akhyati was correct when she said you are a great designer", she laughed, touching the fabric on the mannequin elegantly. "Yeah, these are so cute and royal at the same time", she replied, adoring the design.
But Mr. Rathore stood there, staring at the mannequin. If he stared any more, I think the mannequin would break.
"Thank, so much for sparing time to show us your design in such a short period", their assistant said, as I smiled and looked back at Mrs. Rathore, who was now looking at me, smiling. I wonder why.
"I think we will take our leave now, we will inform you next time we will be here", their assistant said as Tanvi was quick to lead them to the exit.
I also walked behind them, as Akhyati came and smiled towards me, "I am your big fan!" she exclaimed. "Oh, the princess of Udaipur being my fan!", I smiled at her. "So what, I guess when the designer is like you, everyone will be your fan", she giggled.
"Thank you so much, Akhyati," I replied, as we made it to the exit. "Bye-bye, I'll meet you next time", she said, making her way to the exit, and I waved her back.

"Aapke muh me dahi jam gayi thi kya? Bole kyu nhi kuch aap? Manika ji questioned Rajwant ji as they entered their car.
(Was there curd in your mouth? Why weren't you saying anything?)
"She had good designs," he muttered. "If it was good, then you could have said it; you were staring at the mannequin," she stated.
"Accha woh sab chooro, mujhe toh acchi lagi woh, design bhi acche the uske" she added
(Leave that I liked her, the design was also good)
"But Manika, we need to ask Dhruv to come; he can't just deny coming into the event, after all, he is going to be the next king of Udaipur," he complained.
"I think we should just tell Aira to design his outfit as well, we will convince Dhruv later", she said as Rajwant just stared at her with weird eyes.
"Apne bete ko sab kuch baad me hi baad bata denge, theek hai?" he said with sarcasm.
(We will tell everything later to our son, fine?)
"Shaadi ki baat baad me, event ki baat bhi baad me?" he asserted.
(Weeding plan? later, event plan, later too?)
"Toh aap hi jaake bata dijiye na," she replies, being pissed.
(Then you only go and tell your son,)
"Okay fine, I will tell our assistant to inform Aira's assistant regarding Dhruv's outfit, but we will tell him about the event tomorrow," he replied. "We can tell him about the event tomorrow, but what about the wedding?" she questioned him.
"I will talk about that with Mr.Vijay", he stated.

I rang the bell of my house, and I also forced Tanvi to come home with me, well, not force, you just need to tell her once to come, and she will.
Meena aunty soon opened the door, "Tanvi! You are also here, come-come," she exclaimed.
"Meena aunty!" she exclaimed as she hugged her. I laughed and entered my house, "You can hug her later, first come inside"
"Jaal rahi hai kya tu?" she chuckled
(Are you jealous?)
"Why would I be jealous?" I laughed and made my way to the living room, where Mom was watching some daily soap and Dad was on his phone.
"Focus on me, people", I said as both of them looked at me, "How was your first meeting with Rathore's?" Mom questioned as she lowered the volume coming from the television.
"I am also here, someone focus on me too," Tanvi's voice came from behind me. "Aray, aaj tu bhi aayi hai, aaja beth", mom signaled towards the space on the couch.
(You are also here, come sit)
"You didn't ask me to sit", I pouted towards my mom. "You can sit yourself," she stated.
"Yeah, whatever, so I was telling you about the first meeting, they were quiet at first, but then later on they liked my designs", I said, smiling.
"And the princess of Udaipur is a big fan of your daughter," Tanvi added. My parents looked at each other, something weird in their eyes, which I didn't understand.
"Woh sab toh theek hai, par tum dono kuch kha lo," My mom said as she told Meena Aunty to make something for us.
(All that is fine, but first you both eat something)
"Aunty, can you tell Meena aunty to send the food to Aira's room? We still need to work a little bit," she questioned.
"Yeah-yeah, work should always be your priority, you both go to Aira's room, Meena will bring the food there", Dad answered instead of Mom, due to which Mom glared at Dad, but before she could say something to us, we escaped towards my room.
"Do you want to change your clothes?" I asked Tanvi, to which she nodded but then stopped, "Am I staying here for tonight?"
"Han ruk ja, kabhi kabhi toh aati hai." I replied
(Yeah, stay, anyway, you only come on here once in a while)
"Ab tu itna bol rahi hai toh ruk jaati hu", she chuckled, and I laughed.
(Now that you are insisting so much, I can stay)
I removed my phone from my pocket and threw it on the bed. When I turned I saw Tanvi face all pale, while she stared at the phone.
"What happened? Why is your face so pale?" I asked. "I got a letter from the P.A of Rathore's," she said as my pulse rose. "What does it say?" I questioned.
"You need to make another design-", "What? But they liked my designs, why do they need another one?" I asked with a frown on my face.
"Will you let me complete first? You questioned me in the middle of my sentence?" she said, pissed off. "Oh, sorry" i said shutting my mouth.
"Yeah, so it says you need to make another design for Dhruv Singh Rathore," she said with a little bit of excitement and nervousness.
"Why are they telling this to me now?" I asked. "I guess they liked your design too much," she said as she also threw her phone on the bed.
"But it's good, we thought they gave his outfit design to some other designer, but now you have it", she said with her hands pointed at me. "Then I don't think they ever gave it to someone else!" I exclaimed as I fell on my bed and closed my eyes.
"Should I leave now for the boutique? I don't think we have enough time, they give weird surprises anyway by telling one day before they come," I said, my eyes still closed, "I don't want them to think that I can't make his outfit, but today I am too tired to even move" I added as I felt the bed dip. Tanvi also lay down, too tired from today.
Just then, a voice came from the door, "Toh kal chale jana."
(Then go tomorrow)
My eyes shot open, we both looked at each other, then at the door, and there was my mom standing with a tray in her hand. "Not that you will make his whole outfit tonight", she said as she walked towards my bed.
"You are right, Aunty", Tanvi muttered, as she again lay on the bed and closed her eyes.
"I am always right," Mom said with pride as she walked back to the coffee table kept in my room in front of a couch and kept the tray having the food there. "You both have this, and sleep, start with a fresh mind tomorrow", she said
"Good night, aunty", Tanvi said, with her eyes closed. "Good night, Mom", I also said just after Tanvi.
"Good night to both of you", she chuckled as she closed the door of my room.
